Zasey Photography Studio Rental usage & terms

Studio Address & hours of rental availability

Zasey Photography’s Historic Strand District Studio is available to rent from 10 am - 5 pm seven days a week. Shoots are limited to no larger than parties of 5 (including the photographer). Requests for larger groups are considered on a case by case basis and must be approved with Amber at the time of booking.

The Studio is located at 2425 Market St. Suite 3 Galveson, TX 77550

Rental rate

The studio rental fee is $85 per hour with a 2 hour minimum and is to be paid via Venmo at the time of booking. The studio’s Venmo is @zasey and is to be paid as friends and family. Fees taken for any payments sent as goods and services will be billed back to the renter prior to being granted access to the studio.

The studio should be left in the same condition as it was upon the start of the rental period. This means all furniture should be placed back in its original location and any trash should be disposed of and floors swept if needed. A $100 cleaning fee will be charged should the space be left in disarray or there is trash left behind.

Permitted sessions

Zasey Photography allows all types of sessions to be conducted in the studio with the exception of boudoir. Due to the exclusive nature of the type of boudoir sessions provided by Zasey Photography these sessions are strictly prohibited at this time. This means there is no permitted use of the bed, St. Andrew’s Cross or any BDSM props in the studio.

Permitted sessions include newborn sessions, senior sessions, family sessions, bridal sessions, engagements, maternity, corporate head shots and individual head shots/sessions. For any session not listed please contact Amber directly.

Mini session policy

Due to Zasey Photography’s studio being located in a residential building mini session marathons are limited at this time. If you are wishing to book minis please contact Amber with full details on number of attendees and the nature of the sessions for approval.

Handicap access

The studio is located inside a historical landmark building and due to the time period in which it was built does not have handicap access to the inside of the building or to the 2nd floor unit. It is the renter’s responsibility to make sure their client does not need handicap access prior to their rental time. No refunds will be given for rental periods not completed due to inability to access the studio.

Moving furniture & props

Furniture may be moved throughout the studio as needed but must be returned to its original spot at the end of the rental period, with the exception of the large ornate mirror. The bed and sofas are on sliders and can be slid carefully across the floor. The wicker peacock chair must be picked up and moved carefully, as it is fragile. All end tables, potted plants, and other small items need to be picked up and carried out of the way and returned to their original location at the conclusion of the rental period.

The upper loft area is not available for shooting, as this area is reserved for Zasey Photography’s clients for hair and makeup as well as proofing. For safety reasons Amber asks that children are not permitted on the stairs or in the upstairs loft. The lower main studio is the only area shoots and renter’s clients are permitted.

Absolutely no access will be granted to the balcony

Parking

Street parking is available for all guests and there is a 2 hour max on curbside parking. There is a parking meter located at the corner of Market St. and 24th. Any parking fees, including parking violations, are the responsibility of the renter or their guests.

Cancellation policy

In the event there needs to be a cancellation a full refund will be issued for cancellations 72 hours or more in advance, 1/2 will be refunded for cancellations within 48 hours and no refunds issued for cancellations within 24 hours or less.

Noise policy

Renter is aware that the units adjacent to Zasey Photography’s studio are residential and agree to keep the noise level of their guests to an absolute minimum.

Damages

Renter agrees to repair or replace any prop, furniture or finish damaged during their rental period at the current market rate for replacement or repair.

Release of liability

Zasey Photography will not be liable for any injury sustained by the renter or the renter’s clients/guests during the rental period. It is highly encouraged that the renter obtain a single day of insurance coverage to protect themselves during their rental period. Renter agrees to release Amber Strickler and Zasey Photography from any and all liability in the event of injury or death.
